01Program Identity and Legal Operator
TPT AI Academy is an educational program operated by The Peoples Trusts Consulting LLC. Public references to TPT AI Academy identify the program brand and do not create a separate contracting entity unless a later written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Contracts, invoices, payment records, notices, and legal communications may identify the operator while maintaining TPT AI Academy as the public program brand.
02Program Pathways and Learner Categories
The Academy may offer middle-school, high-school, adult, accelerated, school-year, private-group, host-school, and cohort-specific pathways. Program length, schedule, rigor, evidence, tools, projects, and credential expectations may differ by pathway.
Program descriptions are not guarantees that every pathway, tool, project, vendor, instructor, location, or schedule will be offered in every cohort.
03Parent or Guardian Authority for Minors
The signing parent or guardian represents that they have authority to enroll the student, approve reasonable technology use, receive communications, accept payment and refund terms, consent to instructional participation, and address attendance, conduct, safety, privacy, and account issues.
If multiple adults share decision-making, the signing adult remains responsible for communicating Academy expectations to the household unless the Academy accepts another arrangement in writing.
04Adult Learner Responsibility
An adult learner enrolls on their own behalf and accepts responsibility for payment, attendance, accounts, devices, project permissions, conduct, data handling, communications, and compliance with program policies.
05Student Data and Education Records
Academy records may include applications, agreements, attendance, assignments, progress notes, feedback, rubrics, conduct records, project files, credential evidence, portfolio records, capstone materials, and communications.
For minors, progress and significant program information may be disclosed to the authorized parent or guardian. For host-school or organizational programs, the applicable signed agreement may authorize appropriate sharing with designated administrators.
06AI Tools, Age Requirements, and Personal Accounts
Learners may use multiple approved AI and technology platforms. Each platform may impose its own minimum age, parental consent, account, pricing, and data requirements. Families are responsible for approving accounts and reviewing applicable third-party terms.
The Academy may restrict, substitute, or discontinue a platform when age rules, privacy, safety, cost, functionality, or instructional suitability changes. The Academy does not provide shared learner accounts unless specifically stated in writing.
07Responsible AI Evidence and Human Accountability
Learners may be required to maintain prompt logs, revision evidence, source tables, process notes, testing records, AI Skills Journals, portfolio artifacts, and oral defenses. These records help verify that the learner directed, understood, checked, and improved the work.
AI assists the learning process. The learner remains accountable for judgment, verification, revision, disclosure, documentation, and final submission.
08Real-World Projects and Permission Controls
High-school and adult pathways may include approved real-world implementation cases. Middle-school work remains more closely supervised and may use a personal brand, school initiative, nonprofit, family project, or simulation rather than independent live business work.
Before real-world work begins, the Academy may require written permission, a defined scope, safe-data rules, ownership expectations, review paths, testing standards, and explicit limits on what the learner is authorized to do.
09No Sensitive Data or Unapproved Production Deployment
Learners may not upload sensitive student, medical, financial, legal, client, customer, family, or confidential business data into AI tools unless the Academy has expressly approved the scope, security conditions, and lawful permissions.
No production automation, public-facing deployment, payment system, external client delivery, or high-impact action may be launched without required human approval and Academy authorization.
10Curriculum and Academy Intellectual Property
Academy curriculum, methods, templates, prompts, frameworks, rubrics, worksheets, recordings, workflows, assessment systems, and instructional materials remain the property of the Academy or its licensors.
Enrollment grants a limited right to use those materials for personal educational participation. It does not grant the right to resell, publish, distribute, sublicense, repackage, reproduce for a competing program, or commercially exploit the materials.
11Student Work and Portfolio Ownership
Student-created work remains the learner’s work, subject to third-party rights, project permissions, safety controls, Academy review, and signed agreements. The Academy may retain copies reasonably necessary for instruction, progress review, credential verification, dispute resolution, and program records.
Portfolio publication remains subject to privacy, client permissions, intellectual-property rights, and Academy review where required.
12Media and Publicity Permission
Public promotional use of a minor’s name, image, voice, testimonial, or identifiable work requires a signed optional release or other written permission. A family may decline the optional Media & Portfolio Release and remain eligible to enroll if otherwise accepted.
Prospective revocation is governed by the signed release. Revocation may not require removal of materials already printed, distributed, posted, or incorporated before the Academy receives and processes the request.
13Credential Integrity and Vendor Independence
Internal credentials require Academy-defined evidence and review. External vendor credentials are controlled solely by the vendor. References to Google, Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Azure, Oracle, NVIDIA, or other platforms do not establish affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or certification authority unless separately documented in writing.
The Academy may prepare eligible learners for third-party pathways but does not guarantee exam eligibility, fees, availability, passing, or issuance.
14Tuition, Deposit, Refund, and Payment Documents
Program-specific financial terms are stated in the applicable offer, invoice, checkout, Enrollment Agreement, Refund & Cancellation Policy, or written payment plan. Those documents control tuition, deposit, seat reservation, fit window, withdrawal, credit, financing, chargeback, and refund terms.
A courtesy extension, credit, makeup session, payment exception, or manual review does not waive the Academy’s rights or modify the applicable policy for other participants.
15Host Schools, Facilities, and Program Partners
The Academy may deliver programs through a school, university, nonprofit, conference facility, classroom provider, or other host. A host may provide space, scheduling, referrals, administrative support, or related services without becoming responsible for Academy curriculum, credential decisions, tuition obligations, or contractual commitments unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
Host rules concerning access, safety, conduct, scheduling, emergency procedures, and facilities may apply in addition to Academy policies.
16Safety, Conduct, and Immediate Restrictions
The Academy may immediately restrict access, tools, projects, communication, or participation when conduct creates a credible safety, harassment, privacy, legal, reputational, data, or technology risk. Progressive discipline may be used when appropriate but is not required for serious violations.
Removal for cause does not guarantee a refund or future credit.
17Communications, Records, and Electronic Signatures
Email, SMS, phone, calendar invitations, video meetings, portals, and electronic records may be used for applications, enrollment, scheduling, payment, attendance, progress, conduct, safety, support, and notices. Participants must keep contact information current.
Electronic signatures and electronically accepted documents may have the same effect as handwritten signatures to the extent permitted by law.
18Order of Controlling Documents
The following order applies when documents conflict, unless a later signed writing states otherwise:
- Later signed amendment or cohort-specific agreement.
- Signed Enrollment Agreement.
- Signed Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Signed Responsible AI & Student Conduct Agreement.
- Signed Media & Portfolio Release for matters within that release.
- Invoice or written payment plan.
- This Legal Addendum.
- Public Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimers.
19Florida Law, Disputes, and Venue
The applicable signed agreement controls arbitration, jury-trial waiver, individual-claim requirements, and dispute procedures. Unless governing law requires otherwise, Florida law applies and Broward County, Florida is the venue for permitted court proceedings.
