01Scope and Operator
This Privacy Policy applies to TPT AI Academy websites, applications, forms, enrollment workflows, instructional programs, communications, virtual or in-person sessions, portfolios, showcases, and related services. TPT AI Academy is operated by The Peoples Trusts Consulting LLC.
It explains how the Academy handles information received from prospective students, enrolled students, parents and guardians, adult learners, host organizations, and authorized program participants.
02Information Provided by Families and Learners
We may collect names, preferred names, parent or guardian names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, grade level, age range, school or organization affiliation, emergency or scheduling details, technology readiness information, communication preferences, and other information voluntarily provided through applications, enrollment records, surveys, emails, calls, or forms.
We ask families not to submit unnecessary sensitive information. When special circumstances require additional information, we may request it through a more appropriate channel.
03Application, Admission, and Enrollment Information
Application and enrollment records may include readiness information, prior AI experience, educational goals, project interests, pathway selection, availability, fit-call notes, admission decisions, signed agreements, tuition status, payment records, attendance expectations, and onboarding completion.
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Application information is used to evaluate fit, readiness, capacity, scheduling, and program alignment.
04Student Learning and Progress Records
During participation, the Academy may maintain attendance records, assignment submissions, project files, rubrics, checkpoint results, instructor feedback, progress summaries, make-up work, conduct records, AI Skills Journal entries, certificate trackers, portfolio evidence, capstone materials, and oral-defense or showcase records.
Progress information may be shared with the enrolled student and the authorized parent or guardian. Adult learners receive their own progress information directly.
05Technology, Device, and Account Information
The Academy may collect account identifiers, login or access status, device-readiness notes, browser or platform troubleshooting information, file-sharing permissions, and technical support records needed to help learners access approved tools.
The Academy does not provide shared learner accounts. Learners generally use approved personal accounts and remain responsible for credentials, account security, device maintenance, and compliance with third-party platform terms. Minors must not create accounts without required parent or guardian approval.
06AI-Assisted Learning and Processing
Instruction may involve approved AI systems and AI-assisted workflows. Depending on the course, learners may use tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, NotebookLM-style tools, research platforms, or Academy-approved alternatives. The Academy may also use AI-assisted tools to organize communications, summarize non-sensitive records, prepare instructional materials, review drafts, or support program administration.
Students and families must not enter passwords, medical information, financial information, legal records, school records, private client data, confidential business information, or other sensitive information into unapproved AI tools. AI output is not treated as automatically accurate or final and remains subject to human review.
07Projects, Portfolios, and Real-World Work
The Academy may collect project plans, workflow maps, research briefs, automation demonstrations, screenshots, presentations, portfolio pages, capstone evidence, client-style audits, and related work created for educational purposes.
Real-world or client-style work requires approved scope, appropriate permission, safe data, and Academy review. Public delivery, client handoff, or production deployment may not occur unless specifically approved.
08Media, Testimonials, and Portfolio Release
Public use of a minor learner’s name, image, voice, testimonial, identifiable project, or portfolio example requires a separate signed permission or release. The optional Media & Portfolio Release may be declined without affecting otherwise valid enrollment.
Internal educational review, private parent communication, grading, coaching, and secure program administration may occur without a public media release when reasonably necessary to provide the program.
09Payment and Transaction Information
We may retain tuition amount, payment status, invoice records, deposit status, installment status, transaction dates, chargeback or reversal records, and customer-service communications. Complete payment-card or bank credentials are generally handled by the applicable payment processor or financing provider rather than stored by the Academy.
Third-party payment plans, BNPL products, or financing providers maintain their own privacy practices, eligibility rules, fees, and account requirements.
10Communications
We may retain emails, SMS messages, call notes, calendar invitations, video-meeting records, parent portal messages, scheduling notices, attendance alerts, progress updates, technology-support communications, and conduct or safety communications.
By providing contact information, the parent, guardian, adult learner, or authorized participant consents to service-related and enrollment-related communications through reasonable channels. Marketing messages, where used, will include legally required opt-out methods.
11How Information Is Used
- Evaluate applications, readiness, admission, placement, and program fit.
- Process enrollment, tuition, signed agreements, onboarding, attendance, and scheduling.
- Provide instruction, coaching, progress monitoring, project review, portfolio review, credentials, and showcases.
- Support responsible AI use, academic integrity, privacy, safety, and conduct enforcement.
- Communicate with families, learners, instructors, host locations, and authorized service providers.
- Improve curriculum, operations, support, quality control, and program administration.
- Maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and comply with legal or contractual obligations.
12Service Providers and Approved Platforms
The Academy may use Google Workspace, Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Forms, Sheets, Docs, portfolio platforms, CRM and enrollment systems, CC360 or GoHighLevel-style systems, payment processors, email and SMS providers, video-meeting platforms, AI tools, design tools, automation tools, and contractors or vendors supporting instruction and administration.
These third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Families and learners should review age requirements, account settings, and privacy controls before using any platform.
14Children Under 13 and Parent or Guardian Control
Some middle-school learners may be under 13. Before knowingly collecting personal information from a child under 13 for enrollment or instructional services, the Academy requires parent or guardian participation or consent consistent with applicable law. The Academy does not knowingly use child data for behavioral advertising.
A parent or guardian may request review, correction, or deletion of a child’s information, subject to identity verification, active enrollment needs, signed agreements, legal obligations, safety records, and reasonable educational or business recordkeeping.
15Host Schools, Partner Locations, and Group Programs
Programs may be delivered at a school partner location, university partner location, conference or classroom space, online, or through a hybrid model. When another organization sponsors or hosts a cohort, information may be shared as reasonably necessary for scheduling, facility access, safety, attendance, or program administration.
A separate school, host, or group agreement may impose additional privacy, records, consent, or security obligations. If such an agreement conflicts with this public policy, the applicable signed agreement controls for that program.
16Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to process applications, administer enrollment, deliver instruction, maintain student and payment records, support credentials, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal or contractual obligations, and preserve legitimate educational or business records.
Retention periods vary by record type. Public media materials already distributed under a valid release may not be fully retractable, although prospective revocation requests will be honored as described in the applicable release.
17Security
The Academy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system, platform, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Families and learners must safeguard passwords, enable available account protections, use approved sharing settings, report suspected exposure, and avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email, SMS, public forms, or unapproved tools.
18Access, Correction, Deletion, and Communication Choices
Authorized parents, guardians, adult learners, and participants may request access, correction, deletion, or review of information associated with them by contacting [email protected]. Requests may require identity and authority verification and may be limited by active enrollment, signed agreements, safety considerations, legal obligations, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.
Service-related communications cannot always be disabled while a learner is actively enrolled. Marketing communications may be opted out of through the method provided in the message.
19External Links, Vendor Sites, and No Advertising Tracking
Academy websites or materials may link to third-party platforms. Their availability, security, content, age rules, and privacy practices are controlled by those third parties.
At the effective date of this policy, this notice does not describe behavioral advertising pixels, retargeting, or cookie-based advertising. If such tools are introduced, the Academy will update its notice and implement any required consent mechanism before relying on them.
20Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect program, technology, legal, or operational changes. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
Privacy requests and questions may be sent to [email protected] or mailed to 200 S Andrews Ave Ste 504, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301-2066.
